Hot-Rolled Patterned Threshing Bars are the key working elements inside agricultural threshers. Their raised spiral ribs generate the optimal friction and impact to strip grain from wheat, rice, corn and other crops, while precisely spaced gaps and centrifugal force speed up the grain–straw separation to keep impurity levels low. The groove geometry is engineered to minimise kernel cracking, preserving grain quality even at high throughput. By varying bar density or drum speed, the same bars adapt to different crop varieties and moisture conditions. Produced from wear-resistant 45# or 65Mn alloy steel and heat-treated for long life under heavy, high-speed loads, the bars are supplied in standard 2 m, 3 m or 4 m lengths for easy replacement and universal fit.
Hot-rolled corrugated bar steel is the core working part of agricultural threshers, and its main uses include the following aspects:
1. Threshing function: Through the raised lines and rotational motion on the surface, friction and impact force are applied to crops (such as wheat, rice, corn, etc.), and the grains are efficiently peeled off from the ear or straw.
2. Separation function: The gap between the corrugated bars and the centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the drum promote the rapid separation of the detached grains and the broken straw, reducing the residual impurities.
3. Reduce grain damage: The specially designed pattern shape can control the strength of the force, while ensuring the threshing efficiency, reducing the crushing or epidermal damage to the grains, and improving the quality of the finished product.
4. Adaptability adjustment: By adjusting the density of corrugated bar arrangement or the speed of the drum, it can adapt to different crop types and humidity conditions, and improve the versatility of the equipment.
5. Wear-resistant and durable: Made of high-strength alloy steel, the surface is strengthened by heat treatment to extend the service life in high-speed and high-load operating environments.
The steel types are generally 45# steel, 65Mn, etc., and the fixed lengths are 2 meters, 3 meters, 4 meters, etc.
